Townsfolk now go about their day: sitting on benches, chopping wood, tending gardens, heading home at night. Guards walk the roads with lanterns after dark.
Greet them or ask for news or directions, and they'll answer. They notice you too, whether you sprint past, ride in or show up naked.
Tibb the beggar by the bank is glad of coin or food, and Rob the town drunk will drink to your health.
Every NPC now has their own face, hair and speech color.
New: Mug of Ale
Hand Bram the innkeeper some coin for one, or buy it from the Provisioner. Double-click to drink it, even on the move, for a little stamina.
New: The Demon Lord fight
The demon lord in the Vault of Eternal Mist is now a real boss fight. Wake him and the way out is sealed until it ends.
He rains down lasting fire, whips fighters to him, takes to the air and calls up minions as he weakens.
His hoard appears on his dais every time he falls. The old Demon's Hoard is gone, and Demon Keys are now Golden Dungeon Keys.
The Mistbound Gaol is a little easier, and the Vault has fewer monsters.
New: Emotes
/emote opens a list: wave, bow, cheer, salute, sit, sleep and more.
/dance picks from six dances. You dance until you move.
/e acts something out in words: /e hands you a paper.
Other changes
The Blacksmith now sells a basic knight's kit for regearing after a death (crafted pieces still beat it), plus flails and halberds.
Macros can now pick a target, attack it, and aim spells, bandages and explosion potions at it.
The chat line now shows over the hotbar.
Fixes
Wall of Stone now blocks the way in dungeons and on upper floors.
The loading screen no longer keeps you waiting long after the world is ready.
After an update, a game left in a background tab waits for you before logging back in.
Fixed new items in your bag, like freshly forged armor, sometimes not being clickable.
